Join Swing Left and Vote Blue to knock on doors and Get Out The Vote in the country’s most crucial Congressional swing districts. We need all hands on deck to boost Democratic turnout before Election Day. You’ll be canvassing to support Democrats up and down the ballot in partnership with Stand Up America and Vote Save America.

Unlike earlier buses, these joint buses will depart New York City at the Megabus Stop at 600 W 34th Street, near Hudson Yards. Departure times are staggered for different destinations. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure. Once we arrive, we’ll spend the day canvassing, then head back to New York in the early evening. Bathrooms are provided on the bus.

Note that all campaigns are fully coordinated up and down the ballot, so all volunteers will be helping to win the Presidential, U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, and local races.

Volunteers are trained on the bus with additional training at the campaign field office on arrival with the goal of identifying supporters and increasing turnout. Anyone is welcome to join us on a bus—no prior experience is needed. The campaign will provide you with a list of voters and you will be walking door to door, so comfortable shoes, a water bottle, and weather appropriate clothing – such as sunscreen, a hat, and an umbrella/poncho – is recommended. Every volunteer is paired with a partner. Volunteer-to-voter conversations have been proven to be the most effective volunteer action.
